PROFILE:

FIFL Experience: Drafted 31st overall by the Madison Mad Dogs in the 2nd round of the 2006 FIFL Draft. Had a season high 15 tackles at Austin week 14 of 2006.

Professional Experience: Curtis, along with Jerry Garrett, were the first two players assigned to the Riptide... He was named to the All-af2 First Team and was selected by his teammates as the team’s MVP and Ironman in 2002 when he broke the af2’s single-season tackle mark with 121 stops (92 solo, 62 assists) - more than 20 stops greater than the number two tackler in the League... He also led the league in tackles every week of the season (with the exception of two games in which he was injured and did not play) in 2002.

College: As a member of the San Diego State Aztecs, Curtis was redshirted in 1995, but went on the finish second all-time in tackles in school history with 355... Was named the Aztec’s MVP in his senior year and received numerous other awards while at SDSU... Attended Serra High School, where he was first team All-CIF, All-Eastern League and All-San Diego County selection... Set a school record when he returned an interception 95 yards for a touchdown against St. Augustine
