Professional Experience: Signed with the Atlanta Falcons as a free agent in 1988...Played 1989 season with the CFL Calgary Stampeders...Attended training camp with the WLAF Birmingham Fire in 1991....An AFL veteran of eight years Fleming began his career with the Detroit Drive 1990-93, winning two ArenaBowls...He recorded 24 tackles and 2 sacks in 1990, 37 tackles and five sacks in 1991, 35 tackles and six sacks in 1992, and 16 tackles and one sack in 1993...Moved to Massachussetts with team in 1994 playing tight end, fullback and defensive line...Was traded to Orlando at end of season playing both line and fullback/linebacker for Predators...Recorded 16 tackles, two sacks, and rushed for 46 yards on 13 carries in 1995...played in four games before injuring knee in 1996...Has played in five ArenaBowls (V, VI, VII, VII and IX)

College: Fleming was a standout defensive end and linebacker at North Dakota State from 1983-87, playing in the Division II National Championship Game all four years. The Bison captured the Division II National Title in three of those years. Earned All North Central Conference honors as a senior and honorable mention as a junior. Finished career with 208 total tackles, 10 forced fumble, 2 fumble recoveries, 25 pass deflections, 16 quarterback sacks and 19 tackles for loss. Led team in tackling (74) as a freshman at linebacker. Moved to defensive line as a junior.

Personal: Defensive Coordinator for the Carolina Cobras in 2003 season. Fleming was with the AF2 Columbus Wardogs in 2002 where he served as assistant head coach and defensive coordinator and had been promoted to head coach and director of football operations prior to joining the Cobras.
