"Rochester open up with win."

And "Battle Creek don't." Don't lie, I'm not surprised, either.

Yeah, I think he was in his high 30s when he was in Wheeling in the '02 Indoor Bowl. 41 or 42 wouldn't surprise me.

I dunno, he threw 61 touchdowns last year in Katy, and he's probably around that old in real life...so why not?

I see the point. But this is the FIFL, and you don't win without a lot of offense as well. Brown was the best available, and my WR corps isn't getting younger (or better), so it was also a need there.

I don't think it's a one-year fix on defense. This offense has such a level of talent that 4-9-1 is awful. Just totally unacceptable. Defensive categories of note: Pass Defense - 17th Rush Defense - 15th Interceptions - T16th Sacks - 5th...and it didn't slow anyone down The Thunderbolts threw ONE in...

I know that. Hopefully the defensive guys I've added can give the already-solid offense a boost. You can't win games giving up 25 every game.

That makes getting good young defenders all the more important. Even with the defensive reductions, I got at least two that are better than what's on my team.

There's still good defense. It's just not dominant. I can live with that. The CIFL has the same.

Crunch building foundation for future in 2015 draft

Battle Creek fans knew when they were getting an FIFL team that they would see lots of offense. Unfortunately, they knew that it'd be coming from both teams every game, because the Battle Creek defense was amazingly bad. Not anymore, says Crunch GM Josh Stein. "We made moves. We took some risks. We ...

Coleman. He's got 345 yards on Cates. Though I think adding a big-time rookie WR in Brown will open up more things for Cates, I don't see him outgaining Coleman by 345. But the Crunch do need a big year out of the all-timer in Cates, and my eventual goal is to have Cates hold that all-time rushing r...

And then be sure to post as "blanketman" on some other random board working your darndest to badmouth any other FBPro league out there. That's another key to posting as a Rochester Raiders owner.

Crunch trade for second first round pick

"We need a youth infusion here, and we need that infusion to really carry more talent," said Crunch general manager Josh Stein, announcing a trade to bring Battle Creek into the first round of the draft again. The Crunch sent next year's first round pick to Portland for the rights to the 14th pick i...

Oh, good. The piling on starts already. Glad I came back.

Really, can't you people wait until I go 3-11 or something until you call me an idiot?
