Not sure what is in the water up in Connecticut, but after the oldest QB to retire in FIFL history left, we thought we were going to see QB Dorsey take over.
The Coyotees entered the draft with only one QB. On the FA heap was QB Adrian McPherson after Green Bay dropped him.
The Bombers are off to a slow 1-2 start, but McPherson has been magical, completing 76 of 114 passes (66.7%) for 862 yards, 5 TD's and 2 INT's.
Something in that water up in Connecticut... fountain of youth?

Re: Adrian McPherson - the ageless wonder
Kudos to Mr. McPherson! GBY actually had designs on him returning, but he signed with CON b4 we got the opportunity. Meanwhile, "[...] the highest official passer rating that a quarterback can achieve is 158.3, which is called a "perfect passer rating". To qualify, during a single game a quarterback must attempt at least 10 passes, have zero interceptions, have a minimum completion percentage of 77.5%, have a minimum of 11.88% of their passes score touchdowns, and have a minimum of 12.5 yards per attempt [Wikipedia]. These days we roll with Jordan Palmer... week 3 line: Palmer, Jordan GBY 25 20 80.0 299 12.0 79 3 0 156.1! For this season, Palmer, Jordan GBY 7 109 74 67.9 778 7.1 90 6 1 102.9. Overall, a tough choice?
the only time we fail is when we stop trying
