After 9 weeks, the Coyotes were 3-6 and at/near the bottom of the Eastern Division looking up at the likes of Pittsburgh, Chesapeake, and Rochester. Playoffs hopes were slim to say the least. Then the Coyotes went on a 5 week winning streak that saw them just up to 2nd place and get the 3rd seed in the playoffs.
Connecticut is looking for their first ever post-season victory. This is the Coyotes 3rd playoff birth in franchise history. They lost to the Gladiators in the first round in 2017, and lost to the Safari in the first round in 2010.
