QB Wilkie Perez

In talks between Springfield coaches and QB Wilkie Perez, both agree that it is time to follow a different path. However, I'd like to see him start on the team to which he is traded.

Perez is the FIFL leader in completions (2356) and is third in total passing yards behind Wallwork and Porter. Here are his stats over the past few seasons:

2003 : 68.9% completion / 3568 yards / 20 TDs & 6 INTs / 101.5 Rating
2004 : 66.1% completion / 3522 yards / 18 TDs & 5 INTs / 101.5 Rating
2005 : 67.3% completion / 3211 yards / 19 TDs & 2 INTs / 104.2 Rating
2006 : 67.7% completion / 3539 yards / 16 TDs & 1 INT / 101.1 Rating

If you are waiting for that recent draft pick to 'blossom', then Perez can provide you with a solid starter until that happens. I hope that someone will give one of the league's best QBs an opportunity to help their team.
