Head's up?

Post by Green Bay Bombers »

Dayton and Louisiana await confirmation from the commish on the following trade?

To DAY:
HB Phillips, T Volzke, DT Tao, LB Nwagbaraocha, CB Sanders,
2012: 2nd & 3th

To LBB:
HB Flowers, FB Dos Reis, FB Filer, T Hough, LB Power, S Green,
2011: 1st

The only faux pas is the date on the draft picks... just add one and you get the picture. The #1 is for next season (2012), the #2 and 3 are for the season after next (2013)... our bad.

Look for Marshall Dos Reis to start at HB1 in Bobby Phillips' place. Tough to lose Phillips now, especially after a rather risky RB TC on Louisianas' part, but that's the way cookie crumbles with a 1st draft pick at stake? Sai went down, so we deceided to go in another direction. Rueben Gonzales moves back to C, this time as C1. He was drafted at that position in 2008 , so let's see if he is versatile enough to anchor an OL right now. The erstwhile Eric Arrington arrived just in the nick of time. He, indeed, assumes the G1 slot this week. The Beast needed to keep the tough as nails attitude on the OL, so Hough steps in at T1 while Volzke takes his firery attitude to Dayton. The surpising loss of S2 Heath Shuler will allow newcomer Junior Green to showcase his talent at S2. LB Scott Power is the latest acquisition in the Beast trend to get younger at LB. Look for him to be active (?1?) at LB5. Trust me, Beast faithful... it WILL get better... just NOT this season. Three #1 draft picks should prove most valuable next season. Though Wichita is a powderpuff victory this week (forget that -3 line crap!) tough times are wating down the road. C y'all on the field Thursday.
the only time we fail is when we stop trying
