Green Bay Voted Ugliest Helmet

Post by Mike »

Fort Wayne (AP) - Fort Wayne fans voted for the Green Bay colours as being the ugliest, most garish helmet in the new revamped league. The sharp bright yellow just jumps out at you, searing one's eyeballs, burning the image for a few minues into one's retinas.

Honolulu's helmet was voted #2.

While I like it...

Here's another side of the Bombers...

The only problem is the QB will not be able to discern who's receivers are whom when the GBB play the Everett Hawks! The colors are identical! The original colors of the GBBs were Black, Green and White, so I have no idea where that yellow helmet came from? Regardless, the logos for this team have long endured ridicule for its perhaps problematic marketing department, but the players traditionally rally around such slights. While the team needs no further motivation, the slights are constant bulletin board fodder... ROCK ON!

LOTS of names never entertained or employed by the FIFL. Perhaps the greatest tribute I pay my deceased parents is the settled and spent their last seasons with their family around them in their last hours in Neenah, WI. I still have a large contingent of family in Neenah and its surrounding communities. THAT was my primary focus in relocating the Louisiana Bayou Beast football club. I can travel there tomorrow and visit relatives (the kids?) I've only seen in pictures!

Don't EVER tempt me...

"Coach of the year" refers to leagues where GMs dealt with salary caps [the same owner!?!] and coaches [the same owner!?! designed their own plays and constructed their own game plans and profiles... Personally, I rue those days and remain open to a money league [HIGHLY ILLEGAL!!!]... HEAVY sigh... I've retained oodles of LEGAL plays and PPPs that would SMOKE all but the best comers... (...but those were different times... SWEET JANE... thanks Lou Reed... miss you!) Rock 'roll ANIMAL!!!!!
