2020 MLB
No. 8 Toronto Blue Jays at No. 1 Tampa Bay Rays: The Rays won six of 10 against Toronto this year and Game 1 will be a battle of talented left-handers – Hyun-Jin Ryu for the Blue Jays and Blake Snell for the Rays. 'nuff said!
the only time we fail is when we stop trying
Re: 2020 MLB
I sat outside on a patio drinking a Moosehead lager (or two) and willed my Blue Jays to victory!
My will doesn't count for very much. They sat a good pitcher with a hot hand after three innings, then went to a guy who was slightly off (gave up a triple to the first batter).
The next game, the ace didn't play very well. I got to the patio late as I had a tax client (didn't she know the playoffs were on?!!? duh!!!) Again the Jays messed up. SS Bichette made two errors, one that could have prevented a grand slam a little while later in the inning. Jays bats were soooooo quiet. The 'Ace' got eaten up.
