2019 GM of The Year

Post by Mike »

This is always the toughest to narrow down. Please feel free to use the "Other - Post below" option if you feel there is another well-deserving GM that is not listed. Nominees for GM of the Year for the 2018 season are:

GM Kevin Fillman - Honolulu Hurricanes

Moved from 6-8 to 8-6. Consistently competitive, has best rushing back in league and best rushing attack in conference. Previous WR Windsor trade proved to be a scoop. Did not make playoffs by 1/2 game, but was one game away from tying for first place in division, and had a tough schedule.

GM Joe - Portland Prowlers

Dominated his division like a lady in black latex with a whip...uhhh, forget the analogy. 8-4 vs Conference (best record) and 2nd best scoring. Rebounded from 6-8 last year to 9-5 this year.

GM TC -Springfield Slayers

Team won 6 games straight, thanks to the start of a rookie qb. Beat out rival MIN on the road to win the division in the last week.

GM Niki Vandenberg - Battle Creek Crunch

Despite his team being named after a chocolate bar, Niki showed manliness in bringing his team to a rousing 10-4 record. This record has not been seen in this division for three years. Also was 4-2 in division, and 4-1 in other conference games

GM David Harwood - Pittsburgh Gladiators

In a tough division, Harwood again led his Gladiators to a 9-5 record, 8-4 Conference record. With BAT, only other team to win all home games.

GM Jason - Chesapeake Tide

Building on the fact his team is named after a laundry detergent, Jason washed away the hopes of opponents, tying PIT for 2nd best in conference record (8-4). Best sacking team, and lowest sacks against.
