Homer pick but for me it has to be Rob Mager. Madison last year were 3-11 and had a poor offense, Mager is drafted, starts from day 1 (was WR1 and WR2) and helped ignite the passing attack and Madison move to 9-5 and a 6 game increase

Last year: MAD 13th rushing, 17th passing
This year: MAD 8th rushing, 16th passing.

Did Mager REALLY improve the passing? He is exciting, but not the workhorse of the team. Look at the increase in rushing....HB Wes Ours, acquired in a trade from FWS. Maybe changes in Oline or PPP as well...

See? What do the Brits know? ;)

Yeah good point ! Just last year Madison really didnt have a decent WR1, Reese was too old, Fleming too small, Molden has tons of talent but seems more suited as a WR2. Burstein came over from Miss but didnt set the world alight and needs some work.

But yeah i feel the passing game was better this year but statistically wasnt that much better, the rushing attack helped a ton as you say and the offensive line FINALLY seemed to settle down and the sacks went down from a huge 66 to 48 and hopefully should do better this year
