Spring Training woes continue for Connecticut

Post by Connecticut »

Almost every player on my roster under performed AGAIN. And I was conservative in my calculations, always rounding down.

Example, FB Boren had a 90 "Strength" rating, and 98 potential. I allocated 50%. 50% of 8 = 4. He only increased 2.
All five of my RB/FB under performed by at least 1 (two of them by 2) in Strength. I won't bore you with the rest.

Frustrating to continue to spend a couple hours tweaking allocations with such horrible results. Next year I'll just slap 10-15% on every attribute and cross my fingers. Seems I'm the only one having issues and everyone else is getting what they expect.

Just venting, carry on :)

It's been a long time since I saw the calculations (not sure what site it is on).
Isn't there a law of diminishing returns? Kind of like you are 8 away one year on, say, Speed.
Speed is 70 and Potential 78
Then you work on speed at 50 and it gets to 74
Next year, you work on speed again. It gets to 76. Frustrating!

i agree. my player was at 90, with potential of 98. i allocated 50%, so I expected 94. Instead, he's at 92.
All good, I'm sure it was like that for everyone, so I'll stop my crying :)
