FIFL Experience: Given the name "The
unluckiest kicker in the league".. or the "Black
Knight". Played for 5 teams in 5 seasons. Six teams over
his 13 year career. Had a career year with Mississippi in
2011, hitting 41/41 extra points, hitting a career best 28
field goals along with a career long 54 yarder, and a career
best 125 points. Black scored 100+ points in a season three times in his career.
Professional Experience: One of the
top kickers in the history of the Arena Football League, Black
enters his second season with the Tampa Bay Storm. Is the
AFL's career scoring leader among kickers with 1,108 points
and is the league's fourth overall career scorer. Also is
the AFL career leader in PAT's made and attempted and field
goals made and attempted. Is the leading returning scorer
for the Storm in 2002.
College Highlights: Named All-Big Sky
and third team All-American as a senior at Boise State University.
Not only was he an all-conference kicker, but he also received
all-conference honors as a punter. Left Boise State as the
school's all-time leading scorer. Was married during the off-season...Tallied
122-127 (96%) PATS and 51-75 (68%) FGs in distinguished four-year
career.
Personal: Married in the 2001...Works
for ESPN in the offseason.
