Professional Experience: Led
the Los Angeles Avengers (AFL) in tackles in 2003 with 83.0...
played in 10 games for the Avengers, but started the season
in Las Vegas where he appeared in one game... amed to the
All Rookie Arena Team in 2001 and the All Arena Second Team
as a Defensive Specialist. Signed with the Firebirds as a
street free agent on January 1, 2001… In his first season
in the Arena Football League, Coe shattered the single season
tackle record with 143 total tackles (102 UT, 39 AT)… was
a second team All-Arena selection following the 2001 season…
named to the 2001 All-Rookie Team… returned an interception
46 yards for a touchdown in quarterfinal playoff game @ Tampa
Bay (8/5/01)… With the Quad City Steamwheelers (AF2)
team in 2000. As a member of the undefeated af2 Arena Cup
Championship team, Coe earned the af2 Defensive Player of
the Year. Led the league with 169 tackles and also led the
league in fumble recoveries with six. Tied for third in af2
with nine interceptions and tied for second with three forced
fumbles. Was also with the Peoria Pirates of the Indoor Football
League.
College: 4 Time letter winner at Northern
Michigan were he totaled 291tackles (166 UT, 125 AT) and grabbed
ten interceptions during his four-year career. Was a two-time
ALL-MIFC Defense First Team selection and twice named Northern
Michigan’s Outstanding Defensive Back. Led the Wildcats in
tackles during his senior year with 102, including 13 for
losses
